Free with Museum Admission | $15 General\, $7 Senior/Student\, Free for MoAD Members and Ticket Holders for “Pearls of Sorrow” concert with Reginald Mobley. \nPhilharmonia Baroque’s Artist Salons are pre-concert talks led by performers\, scholars\, and guest artists. Offered a few weeks before each concert set\, they give audiences historical and cultural context in an engaging setting. Open to ticket holders\, subscribers\, and donors\, the series is designed to deepen your connection to the music. \nIn this Artist Salon\, curator Key Jo Lee and countertenor Reginald Mobley host an evening of conversation and music centered on Pearls of Sorrow. Mobley will lead a 45-minute lecture and demonstration that includes 15 minutes of live performance\, guiding listeners through the program’s blend of Baroque works and African American spirituals. The evening concludes with a Q&A\, offering the audience a chance to engage directly with the artists. \n
