This SESSIONS event, LIVE from Richard Egarr‘s home in Amsterdam, looks at the Czerny brilliant 4-hand arrangements of Beethoven’s Symphony 5 & 6. We will look at many of the fascinating aspects that these reworkings point out, both in terms of the musical issues of the symphonies and the extraordinary implications Czerny’s writing has in respect of piano performance practice issues. It’s also a chance to see a 4-hands team up-close and personal!
