In 2021, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale established a partnership with Mission High School by bringing a choral arts program to their curriculum.
This program consists of a regular singing class taught by Philharmonia Chorale soprano Angelique Zuluaga, as well as an extracurricular club focusing on Musical Theatre performance and production. Students have also had the opportunity to engage with world-renowned artists including bass-baritone Davóne Tines and Music Director Emeritus Richard Egarr.
At Mission High School, we believe that arts education plays a crucial role in shaping well-rounded, creative, and engaged students. We want to ensure that more students have the opportunity to explore the world of music, learn valuable skills, and create memories that will stay with them for years to come.
