If you missed last spring’s fully staged opera Le Temple de la Gloire, now is your chance to hear this modern day premiere for the first time or relive the magic from these once-in-a-lifetime performances. Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale will be releasing its audio recording of Rameau’s Le Temple de la Gloire taken from live performances at Zellerbach Hall in April 2017.
The double-CD package will include a colorful booklet with photos, program notes, and Voltaire’s unedited libretto.
The CD release date has been delayed to July 2018.
Nevertheless, the first 100 orders will come signed by the maestro himself–Nicholas McGegan.
