Benefits and Services for Subscribers

Benefits with your subscription package include ticket exchange, ticket replacement, same seat guarantees, discounts on additional tickets, and ticket donation.

Ticket Exchange

If you are unable to attend a performance, you may exchange your tickets for another performance within the current subscription season.

  • Exchanges must be made two business days before the concert.
  • Exchanges into a higher price section will be charged any price difference.
  • If exchanging to a lower price section, any price difference will be considered a donation to Philharmonia.
  • Exchanges made by mail are FREE for subscribers.
  • Exchanges made by phone may be subject to a $10 fee.

Exchanges by Mail

All exchanges by mail are FREE.

  • Please include a note indicating the date of the concert into which you would like to exchange.
  • Also include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your exchange request.
  • The exchange request must be received at least two (2) business days before the first date of the two concerts involved.
  • Do not cut or mark the tickets you wish to exchange.

Exchange by Phone

All exchanges by phone will be charged $10 per call and must be completed 24 hours prior to the first performance date being exchanged. Please contact Patron Services at (415) 295-1900.

Ticket Replacement

Your subscription tickets are guaranteed. Replacement tickets are free and may be held at will call for your convenience. If tickets are lost, please call Patron Services at (415) 295-1900 or email tickets@philharmonia.org.

Same Seat Guarantees

As a subscriber, you are guaranteed the same seats for all concerts in their package. If you exchange into a concert that is not in your package, or if you purchase additional tickets, you will receive the next best available seats.

Ticket Discounts

Need extra tickets? Subscribers pay their subscription price for any additional tickets purchased for regular season concerts. To take advantage of this discount, tickets must be purchased by contacting Patron Services at (415) 295-1900.

Please note that subscriber discounts are not available for performances scheduled apart from the subscription season or presented by other organizations.

If you cannot attend a performance for which you have already purchased tickets – and you do not plan to exchange them for another performance – you may donate your tickets for resale and receive tax credit equal to their full value.

Tickets may be donated by mail, email or phone. They should be received at least 24 hours before the performance.
