Post-concert Receptions

Philharmonia donors have an opportunity to join fellow music lovers and distinguished guests for an intimate gathering celebrating the evening’s unforgettable performance. Mingle with orchestra members, meet the featured soloists, and engage with Philharmonia’s Music Director Peter Whelan and guest conductors in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. This special reception offers a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes and connect personally with the artists who brought the evening’s program to life. You will enjoy fine wines, hors d’oeuvres, and stimulating conversations about the music you’ve just experienced.

Gala

Proceeds from the annual Gala go toward underwriting Philharmonia Baroque’s Community Engagement and Learning programs to make period music more accessible to the broader Bay Area community and beyond, while also funding its broader mission. This includes tours, recordings, radio broadcasts and innovative collaborations, in addition to our regular subscription series.

Fanfare

Fanfare is our annual Subscriber Appreciation Party expressing our gratitude to our subscribers, featuring food, drinks, and entertainment, providing a chance for you to connect with fellow patrons while we show our appreciation for your continued loyalty.

Season Preview Party

The Season Preview Party will introduce you to the lineup for the following season, taking place in the spring. This free event gives current donors and subscribers ways to explore coming season programming, artistic insight, and more! During this event, our Executive Director/CEO and Director of Artistic Programming Jeffrey Phillips will not only introduce the upcoming season lineup, but will also be joined by special guests and exclusive previews into the coming shows. The Season Preview Party is one of our longest standing traditions and one that is not to be missed. Admission is by invite only to current donors and subscribers with an RSVP, as spots are limited.

Candlelight

Candlelight is our annual donor appreciation event for our most generous supporters to express our gratitude for your support, featuring a formal dinner followed by a live musical performance from a renowned artist or group, providing an evening of fine dining and entertainment while recognizing the vital role you play in supporting our mission.

The Legacy Luncheon honors the generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and passionate music lovers who have helped shape our remarkable journey. This special gathering brings together longtime supporters to share stories, recognize contributions, and look toward the future of our excellence. You will enjoy a delicious lunch while hearing from featured speakers about our rich history and exciting upcoming season.
