Philharmonia Baroque’s Artist Salons are talks led by performers, scholars, and guest artists, designed to provide historical and cultural context in an engaging setting and deepen your connection to the music.

In this Artist Salon, Conductor Patrick Dupré Quigley is joined by soprano  Kathryn Mueller for a discussion exploring the festive brilliance, wit, and drama of Baroque Brilliance. With musical excerpts from Handel, J.S. Bach, Telemann, C.P.E. Bach, and Marianna Martines, they’ll highlight the virtuosic pieces for soprano and trumpet, Telemann’s musical portrait of Don Quixote, and the West Coast Premiere of Martines’ piece.
