Open Rehearsal: Kinks and Quirks

Philharmonia subscribers and donors at the $500+ level are invited to join a rehearsal for our season-finale concerts, Kinks and Quirks, for a behind-the-scenes look at how the performances you experience on stage take shape. You’ll watch violinist and leader Shunske Sato work in real time with the orchestra as they refine tempo, balance, and interpretation on period instruments.
The music you’ll hear will be drawn from the Kinks and Quirks concert program, which includes:
- C.P.E. Bach – Symphony No. 3 in F major
- Mozart – Incidental Music from Thamos, King of Egypt
- Mendelssohn – Concerto for Violin and Strings in D minor
- Beethoven – Symphony No. 1 in C major
