Live music is all about our shared experience. Join us LIVE for the first time since February 2020when violin virtuoso Augusta McKay Lodge makes her Philharmonia debut as leader! Augusta will lead the Philharmonia Baroque Chamber Players at our San Francisco home — the venerable Herbst Theatre — marking Herbst’s first live performances since the pandemic began.
As a historically informed violinist based in Paris, Lodge performs regularly as a soloist and concertmaster, appearing on the world’s most important stages including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Concertgebouw and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A graduate of Juilliard’s Historical Performance program as a Kovner Fellow, McKay Lodge first performed with PBO in a side-by-side partnership with the conservatory’s premiere ensemble Juilliard415.
